Probably their class difference wouldn't allow them to use it.

I think the weapon they test is just normal weapon but coated with drop item but unique drops is from dungeon and tied to a class.

If having class has no meaning, they don't need to choose class during 1st level up.

class do have meaning in the skills they give, weapons being limited to a class is just stupid and is a thing that seriously need to go away.

it must be that the weapon skills (the ones that you can use even if you don't own the skill) can only be used by certain classes
but I thought that the weapons dropped are always ones that the person who killed the monster can use
