EDIT: Holy shit I didn't even know about chapter 66. Best girl won, and then the guy basically went "I have to return love because the other one loved me first". And then it ends like this.

Yeah but that was pretty much expected for the ending.
The reactions here are also pretty mild, so it's not like people are spilling their guts in hate.

It was a very "fine" story with every aspect being just "fine".
This Manga feels very generic 90s/2000s so the ending is really fitting actually.

But everyone knew already what kind of manga this was since the beginning...So I don't understand the disappointed reactions. I mean, I was more disappointed by Nagatoro's ending, to be honest...just to mention a really popular and recent manga.

I'll respectfully agree to disagree. As much as I love the childhood friend romance victory, it was a very bittersweet one at best with that. I actually think leaving it in the air like this would be better just so everyone can go with their own theories of who he'd pick (or somehow land both with a 3some if thats what you want) in the end.

No, you are not the only one. Do I think it could have been done better? Absolutely, as the ending does kind of seem rushed. But that said I think it was a great ending nonetheless. This one is a more happy ending where they all get to actually be together once more!
