Between telling her that Chiko is an alien and telling her the truth, why not just tell her the truth?

Telling her the truth would mean telling her about the deaths, which would devastate the tsundere, I don't think the MC would want that. Saying she's an alien could mean anything, which makes it easier for them to make up lies.
