I agree with Amon, the translator was awesome. Kind of reminds me of the old days of SnoopyCool. As to the manga; I really enjoyed it. A different take on the "OMG! Everyone's gone!" plot. I followed it intensely while it was being translated.

Why does the translator feel the obsessive need to put a "TL note" on every single g#%(^& page? Does he think everyone reading this is an idiot? Does he just want to show off all his knowledge of random trivia? Try just translating it properly instead of explaining every single speech bubble! You don't need to attach a blog to every chapter either, jesus.

There are a few choosing beggars in this comment section.
If you find the TNs to be superfluous or annoying just skip it, skipping it would only take 0.00000001% of the effort that the translator took to bring this work to you (free of charge).
Personally i enjoyed them and I'm grateful to the translator.

i'd say this is like girls last tour, but with a tad more science fiction, and many more boob jokes

the TNs were interesting for the most part, like the TNs at the end of golden kamuy chapters

Chikyuu no Houkao is one of the best scantalations I've ever read in terms of quality. You guys are really hard working and dedicated, every page of that manga clearly showed the effort and love you had put in it.



And the TL notes were useful for me atleast (Most of them weren't, but I understand how someone new to manga might find them helpful)? To the haters, I'd you don't want to read them, then fuckin don't. Skip the last page, nobody's forcing you.
