The guy's face on PG2 strongly implies that everyone in this world is 'human', but we're just seeing them as furries because the author is making some artistic point. Also note that the fact that people are physically furries (tails; ears; fur) never comes up. It's similar to the setup of Lackadaisy Cats.

@GaBeRock hmm i think so too. reading this manga i've never seen any herbivore so far. meaning they probably dont exist, which would turn the animal society into chaos since there is no proper food chain
