I think comics in general have a tendency of having one specific supersaturated genre.

Is it really? People say similar things of manhwa and even manga, but I still find plenty that aren't of the type they are complaining it's all they see.

The main flaws of manhua, in my opinion, are that it's trying to catch a ride in the manhwa growth instead of growing on its own and that both the official and unofficial translators are going with a quantity over quality strategy. So manhua is lacking distinctiveness, a community that can promote its gems while having too many distributors that either don't care about promoting its qualities or just have questionable tastes.

Manhua kinda make me believe that the chinese do not consider human life to have value, with how the characters in those works usually act.
Like seriously:
  • "You have offended me slightly, I am going to extinguish your entire family"
  • "You have something I want, I am going to murder you"
  • "I activate an artifact that goes wild and kills several audience members, I don't care"
  • "How dare you hurt one of ours after we massacred several of yours? Unforgivable"
And those are from the "good guys"
