AAAND here we go! A dick character and more drama! I almost dropped this once. I'll stick with it to the end, but damn this manga tests my patience with shit like this.

@rob1610 Yeah, that's Yoshizumi Wataru for you. She's a grand master, and I love some of her manga, but even the ones I like the most have some cringeworthy drama sequences.
How old is this new jerk, five?!

@Sevs What you gotta realize is, Yoshizumi Wataru's been doing (often extremely popular) manga since the 80s. She's one of the people who created the shoujo manga formula!

@Purplelibraryguy ohhh! I had no idea. That's pretty cool! Thanks for letting me know. Then it makes sense for her to include such a cliche/iconic arch in her series... This story just seemed so un-traditional from other shoujo manga until this very point xD
