i really like Okazaki's stuff
she was so full of life that it flowed out of her pen and spilled out onto the page
you feel more alive looking at her drawings and reading her writing
its so tragic that such a person suffered such a terrible fate that cut her short in her absolute prime
i read a good article about her where the author said that she deliberately doesn't read all of Okazakis work, because when she would close the cover of the last book, it would be like closing the lid on a casket.
she wants to live in a world where there is always something more by Okazaki to read
always more life to find between the covers of a manga
