Her efforts to not fall for him so easily are what continuously cause the prophecy to self-fulfill.

I've read so many Oyakodon hentai, and I had no idea it was actually the name of a dish. Now it all makes sense.

@wolfeng shimaidon is a thing too, but that's just a derivative term from oyakodon that consists of 2 sisters and is purely pornographic and have no link to foods lul

Nearly every story that I can think of off the tip of my tongue has this exact same problem when it comes to prophecies being foretold. The prophecy seems to always come true because the telling of the prophecy changes the actions of people that inevitably results in the prophecy occurring. The ones I'm thinking of right now are stories where the villain of the story fears that the prophecy might come true so they end up doing something foolish that inevitably backfires on them.

Self-fulfilling prophecy. Never thought this manga would go that deep.

So its her seeing into the actual future instead of her predicting what would happen based on the present.

A prediction can be changed by manipulating the factors , seeing the actual future can't be changed whats bound to happen.

It's kinda f'd up that you're eating a parent and child at the same time.
