None of your comments illustrated the fact that reproduction is the biological purpose though, you simply gave me numbers and said how bad it is for there to be such a drastic decline in the human population unless of course, I read it wrong.
That's because it's entirely separate from the numbers issue. I'm not sure I have proper evidence of reproduction being the biological purpose of life (by which I mean the evolutionary goal - to continue the species, mutations and all) other than the fact that we (by which I mean things that consume oxygen) have been doing it for billions of years, and if we hadn't been doing it for billions of years, Earth would be the same as every other lifeless rock flying through space. But it's not. It had plankton, it had a massive hyperoxygenation event, it had fish, it had reptiles, dinosaurs, and so on. It's a damn shame when any species goes extinct. Do you really want Chobits to be the harbinger of a human extinction event, just because human men can't trust human women as much as they can trust a robot?

unless said species is killing off literally anything that doesn't serve us a direct and obvious purpose, lol. Humans really aren't helping anything here. i always compare us to germs and climate change to the earths immune system for a reason
