I’m OBSESSED with this manga. I’m dying to read more by this author. It’s all the little expressions. This has been such a refreshing read.
My favorite scenes are 1. when we see Wataru in the tub where he’s clearly feeling some type of way about Ayumu’s reaction. I love when authors don’t spell it out in writing but let us guess based on the characters actions. That was also the moment that revealed he knew more than he was letting on. So exciting!
2. Wataru secretly checking Ayumus reactions in chapter 5 are soooo good. It gives him this slyness that’s charming and affectionate. He’s so clearly into Ayumu but watching him take his time to realize it is fun and feels very authentic and relatable if you’re queer.
3. Wataru teasing Ayumu!! He’s such a stinker for that. But his bullying is another clear sign that he actually secretly loves seeing Ayumu get excited/nervous/possessive about him.
Maybe my tastes/attitude are just too much like Wataru’s hahaha.
(I also love that Wataru is kind of a dork. It was funny that Ayumu wasn’t lying— Wataru does live with his mom and has his chores done for him LOL. And him being scared of the sea creatures but trying to glaze over it was too funny.)
