Man, I loved the movie so freaking much and I'm happy to experience it once again in a form of a manga
I hope they'll make more scenes, more explaining and maybe make the ending a bit different or/and not as vague

Pacing of this chapter felt better than the previous two. Surprisingly I felt like the emotional beats covered here hit pretty similarly to the movie. There's even a little more added context to Iroha's relationship with her mom, which is nice.

Excited to see if this expands on anything going forward, but regardless it should be a fun format to experience the story! Looking forward to the light novel as well.

I watch the movie last week it was so peak I'm confused on the existence of this here manga, is it to change the sad ending? Are we gonna keep it going indefinitely?
I mean am I the only who feels like we're rushing through the plot here? The pacing is feeling a lil fast

Maybe movie pacing doesn't translate well?
I mean with a manga adaptation we could take advantage of the format and like expand on the lore and whatnot but I suppose to get through it as fast as possible?

I mean Kaguya going back to her home planet and iroha not being able to do anything about it therefore assuming the daily ritual felt pretty sad to me, the Yuri is separated in the end

Yup, you definitely stopped at the "fake ending", there're still a whole lot right after that. You should really go back and finish the whole film, the true ending is beautiful.

The artist toned down the gay aspect, while adding a questionable scene between Mikado and Kaguya (and we already knew that both are very, very gay), then complained on X that they felt uncomfortable doing GL/BL stuff. It's quite unprofessional.

I really hate this, like.. I understand that he do it for money but to straight up change something (Mikado has Noi!) and insert your own agenda on the anime that has it's very own target audience is just so unprofessional.

I hope they change the artist soon, like there's a lot of amazing gl/bl artists out there
