Oh yea I agree she's a trouble maker but there's a huge difference between a opportunity seeker aka her causing the rumor to ruin MC's life or the neglecter who just watched a rumor ruin someones life because they don't care about MC and just continued with their lives

I'm curious as to what type of person do readers want her to be

I mean, what's the ethical or practical difference? Subtler than likely matters but kind of interesting for character building. The neglector could have been present at the initial rumor or it heard after a week, but aside from the first spark of creativity those actions are equivalent with setting the events in motion. The neglect type may delude themself as morally pure I guess, but she had full control, did nothing, and personally benefited from fawning attention.

Some ethics and law distinguishes variants of trolley problem by intent (deontology), others more value consequences (especially for major harm or acts by a lower caste), others value social responsibility (harmony). She flunks modified trolley problems on all counts due to having power.

Getting out of the weeds it's more a matter of how deluded and evasive the prep girl is than how responsible she is. The character trait matters at the edges, but she's still actively a villainess.

I expect nothing good from her since this isn't a plot heavy story and she's never wavered in her appearances

This whole thing started with Lulu asking for Ten's hand in marriage. That's not easy to walk back, plus this is a Yuri Hime series.

So is she more of a sadist or an opportunist? I don't think it matters much if she lied from the start or just let things snowball and deflected or lied to keep up appearances. Demurring to public sentiment is making a statement, especially with Japanese. She definitely didn't tell the truth when she had social power on her side, and queen bee here doesn't come off as a coward or awkward. The prep is equally liable whether she planned the bullying or became complicit in bullying after seeing or hearing it. There's no reasonable excuse at this point.

Expectation: The prep wants to break up the relationship to poach the princess and build up her school's and her own academic profile. Hopefully this doesn't drag on since she's more of a trauma trigger than an obstacle.

I hope she gets absolutely wrecked by Lulu later on.

There have been subtle hints that Lulu is really good at reading a person's character. It would make sense as a galactic princess that she would be highly skilled at diplomacy and political navigation. We saw that Lulu picked up bad vibes from the girl right away upon meeting her.

Here's to hoping that the student council girl will try to rope up Terachi into her schemes only to have her confidence blown up by Lulu later. It would be so satisfying to see.
