Looks like our little Ringo has her special day. Wonder how badly it will be ruined.

Ringo got what she wanted when she expect the least...

Then again knowing this manga... it'll ruin right in the middle of it.

For some reason, I imagine Ringo talks with Kana Hanazawa's voice..

@greatninja3 Nah, they had unrefined metals other than aluminium, what I'm more preocupied with is what is they using as combustible.

I read "Would you like to go to town on me" at first kkkk.

@mahtan not all car parts are metal they also need some plastic paint and rubber and what ever material is needed in a car battery. and of course the fuel. if its electric well that will raise more questions with material but they do have a powerplant on hand. but if it's oil then where they got it?

You don't need stored electric power to run an engine. You can generate power on the transmission after starting it with a hand crank or external starter. The missile's they used earlier had a control system built in. They didn't need batteries either. You could power that by using wind power from the missile's flight.

As for plastic, rubber and electronics. Since Ringo has an AI robot, chances are that it can build a few self-replicating robots to construct things needed for heavy industry. They could use the plane wreckage and existing refined materials from the new world (like steel) to create a small group of robots to extract materials needed for industrialisation without the need for a large amount of human labour.

@frjoethesecond the problem is not man power its where they get the raw materials for a small place they manage to get everything. I mean one reason for the different progress of tech/culture for different nations is due to whatever resource they have and have none. do you expect me to believe they have everything?

@greatninja3 This series isn't for you if you can't be creative with filling in the things that don't seem right.

For example, perhaps the superhuman high schoolers are from a dimension very similar to ours, but with a different version of humanity which has more variance between its average and its amazing people.
Maybe the world they ended up in is a place where mana manipulation can occur thus stifling technological progress (who needs it?).
Maybe this magical world has a completely different genesis to ours. Like a far greater number of collisions in the early part of the solar system due to a different planetary arrangement, causing more high-density material to be close to the surface. Then again, maybe that's not it either. Maybe the flow of mana caused the metals in the core to mix more readily with the crust material as the planet cooled?

Filling in the gaps in the writing is another way to enjoy something IMO.

@frjoethesecond the thing is they set this manga as "smart" showing they have bauxite and an effective way to produce ammonia, but the rest are blank its like the author wants to sound smart but he's actually not. that is why the market chapters for me was actually good because they set it up as smart and it was still smart at the end even the start was good because they only used aluminium weapons and a lazer canon made in airplane parts no leap of logic and holes and the gun he used was his personal gun.
