Expressive art, interesting premise, completely wacko action scenes. Really curious how this one goes.

Surprised not a lot more people are reading this, but give it a few years and it'll be there I'm sure. Very good manga with so far good pacing. Art is also absolute peak.

Now that's how you do a actually (very) good dark action series, something shitfeast kaisen never managed to do. Well paced story, cool (though chaotic) action sequences and well written characters with great development

thoping for a anime adaption sometime in the near future, but pls not pierrot again with a tg lackluster shitfeast. science saru i believe would pull of a neat adaption, can't see a different studio be able to do justice to the artsy design of the series.

Wait wtf, how did I only learn about Sui Ishida making a new manga only NOW ?! I remember him being burned out after Tokyo Ghoul: Re and not wanting to make another manga for a while, guess it didn't take as long as I thought it would, good for him.

Honestly, kinda ass. Feels like Sui really didnt know where he wanted to go with this one and keeps changing direction with things.

Character development has been lacklustre, characters and their motives are as shallow and predictable as their development. Most the cast is absolutely forgettable, most leave no mark on the reader, characters, nor the story but exist solely to fill the pages.
The world building started on some decent notes only to be absolute slop, so much yet so little happens in a vacuum. The art style is dark and gritty but it fails to capture the emotion of the situations brought forward. Pacing flip flops between him getting ideas and seemingly burning out of them.

Maybe the real "Choujin X" is coming up with decent plot points rather than playing it safe and relying on easy tropes.
