Poor Vernois; her dignity as a warrior just keeps getting trampled over. That said, i think she's actually dodging a bullet here because if this is what the final boss is actually like in her game, then plucking her out of the game before she reached the end feels like a mercy.

The anime really blew past this chapter. We only saw that the DDL was interested in blondes, but he never showed interest in Vernois or Subaru in the anime. That, and the Champion Nona 2 was shown and done almost instantly. We're at the point where the things the anime unnecessarily excludes isn't just nipples.

Also, Nona is a THREE for one package. Blonde + Red armor, Black + Red armor, Blonde + White armor. DDL must be extremely happy inside and outside.

The anime was a mess.
The DDL appeared at about the 4 minute mark, including the opening. The show went through three full chapters in that time.
Consider that a typical 22-minute show goes through roughly 25-35 chapters of its source in a 12 episode cour. This series blew way past the 30 chapter mark by episode 8, despite being a 12 minute short. Granted, they're not long chapters, but it's still ridiculously fast.

Drops that duplicate purchases are better than having such insane equipment scaling that the sword you bought becomes obsolete in time for you to get a real replacement in the dungeon.

The anime was great in letting people know about the existence of this manga, but damn it man....the adaption is horrible, mostly because of how they cut off many minor details and blew past everything, to the point that some reveals in the manga weren't even mention in the anime.
I'm glad that there is someone translating the manga, cause the manga is definitely better than the anime with the un-cut scenes and uncensored. Though the anime is still good because of getting to see with voices and actions.
