  • I guess having a favorite director counts in the figure (re)animation power.
  • Hah, can't be a villain without the monologue or some ability to teleport away.
  • The blue Nona in the latest volume cover is probably Nona Equal. Unless I missed something, she's always in her ultimate form and she has dark skin AFAIK so it didn't occur to me immediately. A bit embarrassing for me since her eye and clothes color are literally flipped from our Nona.

Somehow... an otaku director having megalomaniacal designs seems the most sane thing in this series... this story got to me, I am compromised.

Honestly, shrinking a portion or all of the human population doesn't sound like the worst idea. You can reduce the amount of resources humanity consumes as a whole or need to basis. Or you can focus on just shrinking high priority social security targets such as elderly to reduce their burden, or shrinking kids to reduce how much they need to eat or resources needed for their education until they grow up, etc.
The downside is there might be stratification and segregation between the big and small people

The world becomes a lot more dangerous to a smaller humanity. The definition of severe weather gets a lot milder, and a lot of animals become VERY dangerous. A stray cat isn't cute anymore, it is now equivalent to a hungry grizzly bear.

TBH, if I were the original director and his friend who discovered the galatea shard long ago I would use it's power to rejuvenate myself already.
I'd love quietly too like some perverted vampire, spending my days with harem shenanigans instead of causing problems to other people

I'm not a scientist, but I have a feeling that some materials and things (like CPUs) don't work well if they're processed or even shrunk for a smaller size.

Granted, this whole scenario involves magic or some shit, and the existence of bringing sci-fi characters (and their technology) into reality might help with that.

And like the other guy said, even cats, chickens, and insects become dangerous if your small.

I used to care for chickens, and they will absolutely eat anything that's smaller than them. They were clucking that they found something to eat when they saw my kitten...

I guess Kuguru could technically qualify as a moving figure. He is:

-well known
-perhaps well loved (by a lot of otaku at least)

I still can't shake the feeling Oyster-sensei is stretching the rules a bit too far.
