Thanks for pointing that out. The archaic interpretation aside, I'd say the fact that the ください was simplified to merely "give" without the "please" it is associated with is quite the misstep.

He got it in the same dungeon where he fought the budget Articuno, during his first run.

He found two of them and gave the other ring to Ana.

Plus he also found the legendary Sky Sword (or whatever it's name was), which he had kept aside as a gift for Ana (he did show it to her, when he took her there for training).
