Boy should have swiped a bit of loot from the goblins' hoard, while he was at it. Why not? Big boss goblin would have likely killed an underling or two, enraged by the theft, but that'd be no skin off Allen's back.

For real was thinking the same thing. If he's got multiple pockets, he can keep things separate that might clink together so they don't hear anything if super cautious. Its apparent anything on his person is concealed, so he could've ganked a nice piece of equipment or two to boot.

Never understand works where they seem to always pass on just the bare minimum to not get caught. They either leave it alone like this (when he could really use the extra money), or try ganking all of it for the early fight/flight trope (when "storage" meme skill isnt part of it).

man I really hope getting those skills will come back to bite him someday, one way or another, and not just to be used as plot devices only MC can use with no butterfly effect
the only butterfly effect that will occur is the crown prince's entourage will be deprive of those on critical times so the effect will rather be in the future.

he's thinking about the reason of changes as if the most obvious thing that "going there rather early" is not on the option lmao

It didn't even mentioned that he was worried he would get caught. So he is just stupid and retarded.
Just grabbing a few gold coins would do more than cleaning for months or years. It was pissing me off when I saw it.
It would have been better to not have that treasure mentioned at all and just be a regular goblin nest. :meguupog:

Yeah we're all on the same page with that. Series either do the all or nothing with loot right in front of a protag for the taking where just a touch of it is little/no risk.

But when they do there's ALWAYS the "oh no monsters/baddies noticed us!!!" trope, so I like they balanced it out with him getting the thing he went there for without that.

He couldve even made multiple trips and been picking off the goblins outside the place one or two at a time too to boost himself up a bit early on. But he develops fast anyhow, so I guess its fine. Just a bit of a "bro at least scoop some coins for mom." :wtf:

I think Allen at this point is trying to minimize his impact on others. IE the guild party that will eventually clear the labyrinth. Those are his friends he wants to protect. The things he takes only affect the Prince and Amy whom he is actively working against.

He can't assassinate, he's only tested the skill removal with his mom and he's keeping it a secret from her.

The money can't be brought with him, he can't spend it directly or he'll draw attention and get robbed.

He can't deposit it with the guild, they'll ask questions (after all, they made his guild credit card). He needs to make his money with believable legitimacy.

Also, npcs in believable settings don't have infinite money for purchases, letting them carry all the money and items from the goblin cave means they have more money to add to his card.

The storytelling isn't bad at all. This is far superior to MobuSeka when it comes to that. It's easy to keep up with the flow of the events.

The villagers are surprisingly normal but that's not a bad thing. I'm kind of tired of the usual cliches. Seriously, I would had the biggest eyeroll if right after the moment he was reincarnated, he had to fight the village bullies or some shit.

How would he explain, where he got the loot from? Even if it were just some gold coins. You don’t just randomly find such stuff.

He is going the safe way by having all of his income be traceable. This way when he spends the 15 million coins and people are asking we’re a young boy would get such an amount, he can point them to the guild which doubles as his bank. Which would show that the 15 million is mostly compound salary of some years of guild work, and the sales of some highly appraised items which were bought in the city.
