MC is an idiot. No sugarcoating it. Other characters are also idiots poking a hornet's nest then blaming the hornet's nest when it tries to get them.

In short: Guy is treated like trash by the school he works at because of his lower than the lowest rank and a janitor getting abused by nearly everyone. They even try to get him killed, meaning the school itself, teaches the students discrimination against powerless citizens is perfectly fine and pushing them into the jaws of death is okay. Would you go to a school where the teachers and students LITERALLY tried getting you killed and technically, they succeeded!? This MC said yes... but not for revenge reasons. Even his boss as a janitor and the head of school tried killing him "just to test him" and MC is so remarkably stupid that he sees nothing wrong with attending a school that thinks he needs to be dead even before he had power...
