The twist feels too on the nose. It could've just ended on the previous chapter and it would've been all ambiguous for a similar effect. I mean, if it's going to show this twist ending, what happens to Takai and Taniwaka? I feel like there's a better way to write this twist ending than an uncharacteristic time skip into a shoehorned in moral.
I feel like it tried to be "realistic" but I don't think real life is this bad. Maybe I would've liked it better if it toned down the murder and the rape and stuff, and just focused on more normal but still stressful couple struggles, bullying, falling out with friends, etc.
