that was stupid, when you accuse someone directly, it is implied the killer was a woman or a man,
in this case it, a woman was implied when she accuse pasta of trying to kill her
if the criminal is smart they may say it was a woman because of the implication
how can a main character be stupid as to ask how she know the criminal was a woman when she never say so

Of course, she understands that, but when you trap them saying, "How did you know the assassin was a woman," and they become flustered and are unable to answer, it confirms it. It's a mind trick, not just a useless trap.
