I’m not a fan of this setting, before she was the underdog using her smarts and tenacity to overthrow the second wife and reinstate her mother,
But it was more of a human on human conflict. Now she’s up against super humans and she’s been taken for a ride.

Btw I 100% don’t understand how she could fulfill the roll of ‘mother’ in this creepily worded pairing if she lacks the very mana her partner would need to utilise. I assume he’s going to be able to maximise even a small amount through efficiency so it’ll work out, then when everyone wants him he’ll feel indebted to her and won’t go.

Not really liking the romcom vibe in later chapters either, MC feels like a whole different character and there’s this whole “will they won’t they” flirtation between her and the hero that makes no sense given what we know of MC.
