So rushed, and yet also crappy. I guess I hope there's a spinoff about Harumin, but I really, really, really don't care about this.

Let's put it this way: we already know they love each other, they've already confirmed all that stuff, even the grandpa encouraged Mei to do what she wants, this entire bout of bullshit has just been a retread of old shit we'd already explained our ways through. It's just dumb. Does anyone think it won't work out? What was the point of any of this? It's not enough to ruin the series for me like some endings, but goddamn, things were looking up and then Sabu makes Mei do something dumb as hell. Frig

There has been a lot of manufactured drama in this series, and it's been tedious. Things finally started to get interesting and I actually became invested in these characters and their story, but now they're dragging out the drama again and my enthusiasm is ebbing. With only one more chapter to go, I get the feeling that the ending is going to be rushed, but at least it won't drag on any more?

Like I said. Really like most characters, and the plot, the way things were progressing before, but everything was spoiled by Mei's bullshit. She was cool for a few chapters, the way she tried to understand Yuzu's side and all (kind of). She should be the one to undo the crap this time at least.

I think Mei's character wasn't explored enough and the way she just gets away with everything makes it hard to like her, Ex: Her dating Nene out of spite and then treating her badly and not getting any push back or any repercussions bcs she "doesn't know how to express her feelings". It always: Mei does smt mean --> regrets it --> Apologies --> The person she's apologizing to is too nice and forgives her just like that --> Repeat

Which makes it hard for reader to really like Mei, it would've been better if Mei gets a full fledge chapter dedicated to her. For readers to see what Mei's thinking abt or just a chapter about her reflecting on the bad things she's done...
