I feel like a perfect Nichijou finale will be the main cast meeting with the CITY cast and then cut to adult girls figuring out how to dig the time capsule from the original end. Maybe even have the Monte Black Trio help and it ends with them doing a Rock, Paper, Scissors.

I’ve seen a few of the sokushinbutsu in Yamagata prefecture. They’re a lot less gross in person, somehow, because you can tell that they’re taken care of really carefully by local people?
