The way he was overthinking it, it got more and more obvious it was a misunderstanding. So it really was mixed bathing, but nobody said it was the typical nude bathing onsen. Stop resisting your friends' wingman moves, Akira. Stop it, instead of cute it just looks lame...
At this point Akira still knows more about Izumi than Aoi, and that should be corrected.
I'm more surprised there are still people around for "gyaru" this far in, when it was shown very early that there isn't and never was any gyaru at all in this... the whole thing was a huge misunderstanding. Aoi was never a gyaru at any point. Dyed hair =/= gyaru. Exactly the reason why this doesn't and (shouldn't) have any Gyaru tag.
