I just realized that the MC is a bit of a dumbass. He has a best friend that's been with him since kindergarten and forgot that even though they've consistently went to the same schools.

There's no way it's possible to forget that both you and your best friend shared the same preschools, elementary, junior high, and high schools right?

Though I have to say, it wouldn't have mattered since this detail would probably effect some lines in about 2 chapters at best.

I think you mixed things up.

MC and Eiji was in the same kindergarten, but MC moved when he started elementary school.
They only reunited in middle school, but only from midway.
