for this story all i can say is, ''started so well, fumbled so hard'' bc it took so much time to even think that he loves her or the other way around. thats why it started to feel like too unreal.

Read this all in one go but this story is surprisingly well-connected huh?

Other series of the same premise involves just the two leads flirting and nothing else much happening. This one actually has an overarching plot, and MC that has flaws, and friends that doesn't feel like token friends but actually help out and have their own opinion.

Finally, a comment that ISN'T complaining about some problem related to the story but not important to the plot, or complaining about the story😭 I can rest in peace now🙏🏻

don't remember but, i always assumed the grandma was her mother's mother... for whatever reason. otherwise, it would've been so easy once the father stepped in, to just outright ask him "grandma still lives around the area, i wanna stay with her for school"

The guy I worked with couldn't obtain as little as shared custody of his kids, she got full custody even though he was the sole income, had a stable job, clean records, and the kids wanted to be with him. While the mother was on anti-crazy pills, and frequently stopped taking them because she felt fine and didn't need them anymore, she also had quite the police profile due to altercations while off he meds. Child protection services took the kids from her many times, only to return them later. The kids moved in with him when the courts couldn't force them to be with her anymore.

I like that people say "think of the children" when they clearly don't care about children. If the justice system actually worked. It would be a case by case decision. Not automatic giving custody to someone.

There is a dark story in the Bible. Where 2 woman claimed the child is theirs. I think it was Samuel that said "we would split the baby in 2 that way both get the baby". 1 woman say "yes". The other pleads say " just give her the baby, I don't want the child to get hurt." Samuel said "the woman that gave the child away is the true mother. because only a true mother doesn't want the child to be harmed". I wish the justice system was like this. They could take the children into custody and wait a month to find out the whole story about their situation. Then make an executive decision about the child's well-being and care. Because the children are the next generation. Would you trust your child with a psychopath to teach them how the world works?
