Interesting but it feels like not much happens each chapter. like we have to wait 7 days just for a little story progression each time, even though the execution and storytelling within each chapter is quite good.

Looks like a "rod from god", a kinetic bombardment with an inert rod at high speeds that can shatter a planet. If this is making him a psyker by networking with his class to stop a piece of chalk, maybe he has to 'save the planet" by networking with the brains of all of earth to stop the kill rod with his new psyker powers.

The entire setup is a massive Callophean Psy Engine from Warhammer 40k, if you will.

And MC gets rewarded for crying and refusing to actually solve the issue. What are the chances that the rest of the manga'll be like this? Problem comes up— MC doesn't know what to do, nearly dies, &c.— Sudden deus ex machina saves the day with absolutely no effort on the MC's part.
