Ok now I'm confused with the direction of this manga. I thought this manga will be some kind of thriller survival horror story, if that's the case the second class resolved way too fast. I don't feel any tension whatsoever.

Nah, after few first chapters, it nudges towards average shounen battle royale instead.

I also originally thought it was going to be thriller horror based on the cover. Don't judge book from the cover I guess.

if I understood the premise right, it's eight aliens ("higher beings") resolving territorial conquest of earth by choosing eight humans to psychically battle each other. That's insane lmao. It would be like deciding who owns the South China Sea by choosing a fish to represent each country and having them fight each other. I believe this should be arrangefd
