I guess I shouldn't think about it too hard but are the people in the other world also speaking Japanese? Or is there something else at play that makes it possible for everyone to understand each other?

Also, the slaver paid enough for one month's worth of food to buy Nanami but never bothered to get her Ludia value measured? That seems like a bit of an oversight, unless perhaps Ludia values can increase as you grow up?

Seems like I vastly overestimated this series in my comments on the earlier chapters. This is one of the series where stuff simply happens, no matter how unlikely, illogical, or inconsistent, as long as it suits the author's needs for each chapter. The characters aren't written to suit the needs of the story, instead the story is written to suit the whims of the author in creating the characters. An average isekai, in other words, which makes it bottom tier fantasy.
