Forced? Yes. Rushed? Yes. Unnecessary? No this drama is necessary for the story to progress but it didn't need to happen so quickly.

3 million? So they do have a reference frame for ludia scores about 100k. It's clearly a possibility they're aware of. Which just make it even more ridiculous they never considered it with the MCs score

If she's really that valuable, they probably should have been more cautious about stabbing through the door, not more reckless. What if it was Nanami that was standing there and they accidentally killed her instead of the noble?

If military forces are looking for you, you probably shouldn't try to hide in a military vehicle. Soldiers will automatically pay more attention to it, no matter what. Even if they hadn't decided to destroy it right there and then, after murdering the owner, they likely would have taken the mecha with them for later use, whatever it might be, maybe just for spare parts, practice material for mechanics, or even target practice.

If Ludia value was for intelligence, I'm afraid the author of this story would be struggling to get a high score.
