Shi-chan can't stop the gig at the store, can't resist the chance to hold Tak-kun's hands. And he's not wrong about thinking this is like an idol handshake event, except with a role reversal that looks odd at first, but actually accurate once you learn about her whole backstory.
Interesting that the seating bit is a bit different from the LN and even the beginning of the manga. I thought there were 40 seats in the classroom. At least it doesn't change the end result. Also, kind of odd that Shion only names three seat numbers (as in the LN) and doesn't note the seat to Takuya's left, so I assume that seat was already taken. And the seat-swapping bit doesn't happen in the LN, since Shion got the correct seat right away.
Shion gets super jealous at the end, which should get cleared up quickly. But she does need to tone down the jealousy a bit, as this kind of comes back to bite her in the next couple of chapters.
That Mikitani girl will get involved a bit as well, but this will help Takuya grow as a character after some reflection.
