I was expecting them to still ask for the forge, the insider cast knowing it is truly useless at this point, would've acquiesced if they introduced the queen mother into the fold. I wouldn't trust the blonde kingdom, since they know how weakened the other two and could easily leverage how at odds the two weakened kingdoms are, they can easily attempt to unify (ofc they wouldn't know that the dog kingdom has clevatess as an ally at this point). Apart from the human drama, there's also the phoenix tribe trying to eliminate all humanoids or i guess finding a position to take on that idea. If another war broke out soon enough, it'd be perfect for them to swoop in and defeat whoever wins that.

There is something wrong here... he can't simply demand to enter the place, even being the king of the country?

What, is this seminary outside his country? It doesn't make sense.

Does it have diplomatic "immunity" from the country itself? That is stupid.

There is something out of place here.

As soon as he mentioned authorized personnel my gut screamed magic school, I hate that I was right but it'll be interesting to see Clevatess go to school to learn magic even though it'll just be another OP protagonist surprising his classmates again, probably deal with a holier than thou noble, and earn the respect of the top tiers of the school. Probably just guessed the next 15 chapters of the manga

it feels strained indeed but I guess their hold on their own respective countries cant be that great. Mustache king mentioned how decivilization happened, maybe even still is ongoing, much of the world lays in ruins and (magical) knowledge is scant. I guess the implication is most of the non-capital regions act more like autonomous city states and they cant just parade in and turn the entire school over.

No idea why people are so pressed about the idea of a school arc. Hell, even Make the Exorcist Fall in Love had one and it was great. Maybe let the writer actually do what they've been doing this whole time instead of assuming that a single trope will somehow turn them into a dribbling idiot.

For me it's that the majority of fantasy stories that do "school arcs" last for longer than they need to be and bring the over arcing plot to a crawl. Maybe this story won't do it and what has been shown so far says that it shouldn't but that does not mean that the trope has a bad name for good reason.

Fantasy "school arcs" are fine if that's how the story starts since it's used to introduce the world to the reader but when it is brought up after the world had been introduced it does drag many stories longer than they need to. But let's see what happens before we give the final judgment
