I don't know if we're allowed to do this, but I've altered the grammar to be easier to read and understand.
World, hold your breath, and then await the revelation of the truth!
The year is 2018 of the Imperial Calendar.
The Holy Britannian Empire, with its military prowess and superiority of arms built around the Knightmare Frame, led by its vigourous Emperor Charles and cunning Prime Minister Schneizel, was expanding rapidly and on the path towards total world domination. However, one year ago in Far Eastern island territory of Area 11, the former Japan, a man rose in rebellion against it.
That man's name was Zero, and even though he hid his face to the world behind a mask, his boundless charisma and clever strategies allowed him to gather enough comrades and followers to bring war to Britannia.
And even though he was thought dead... Zero has once again returned and gathered Britannia's enemies into a single camp - founding the United Federation of Nations, splitting the world in two between opposing superpowers.
The first action of the UFN was to declare war against Britannia with the intent of liberating Area 11, what transpired however was...
During the struggle for the Second Battle of Tokyo, the Britannian armed forces unleashed the the experimental weapon of mass destruction , dubbed the FLEIJA, over the settlement.
As a result, millions of people lost their lives and went missing... Among the reported casualties was the viceroy of Area 11, Nunnally vi Britannia, and Zero himself.

Suzaku: Just as we've discussed already C.C, we have a purpose now, something we must do.
