Some time ago, I noticed that this chapter, as well as the ones starting from Volume 7 onward, could not be found anywhere online in English. It wasn't until recently that I seriously considered completing the English translation of the Lelouch of the Rebellion manga, so I'll be starting with this chapter 21, which focuses on the Black Rebellion and the end of the anime's first season.
One thing that discouraged me from starting this was the fact that, unlike mangas such as OZ the Reflection or Lancelot & Guren, this one actually does have an official English translation. Despite that, I've come across several people who, because they don't own the volumes, have never been able to read this manga in its entirety, since only an incomplete version can be found online. However, I should point out that scanlating this manga will not be my priority for the time being. Right now, I'm more focused on finishing my OZ the Reflection O2 manga translation (a project I'm taking a break from at the moment), working on our new Geass wiki project, and, above all else, surviving my real life at university. Because of that, progress on this manga will probably be much slower (although there are only around 10 chapters left to translate).
Unfortunately, unlike with the O2 manga, I have to admit that the quality of the translation here will be much more questionable, since I'm not working from the original Japanese raws, but rather from a fan translation on a blog in Spanish, which, from what I've seen while reviewing it, has more than a few issues. Even so, I'm deeply grateful to have found their work again, as it was what allowed me to read this manga in its entirety for the first time several years ago, back when I was still in high school. But the fact remains as it. I don't own the volumes in English or Spanish, nor am I interested in obtaining them (although I do wish now that I had bought that Volume 8 I happened to see at a book fair two or three years ago).
To ensure this translation is as high-quality as possible, and taking advantage of the fact that this manga is clearly a fairly close adaptation of the original anime, I'll be using the official English subtitles to complete it, specifically for scenes that are identical between the manga and the anime.
