Satori was gonna directly handover the Shingetsu to Hakuba, I guess. And then she'll swim away.

You know, YMMV but I once thought what's the point of having the robots being piloted if the pilots never get out of their cockpits.

Yeah, but you could have the guy climb up before opening the cockpit. You're both gonna be on the machine either way, so it'd be nice to not spend anytime completely separated from it.
