I do feel like this arc is....slipping. What I wanted, and most other commentors as well, was a dark story about a dystopian future with some supernatural elements. These last couple chapters have been fancy magical girl fights, which is not what I signed up for at all. It especially wrecks the story where Pieta was supposed to be related to the girl the cult worshipped, if every girl in this city has superpowers.
What happened with the rich girls dad? What is Pieta's relationship with her mother and friends now that time is moving again? What are the cults plans now that their assassination has failed? Is it still endlessly raining, how many days has it been since they escaped the loop? I'm here for the mystery, but we aren't even making progress on any of the mysteries I care about.
