There's zero reason to like the king hes been a douche up to this point and only saved because of edward(she doesnt know that tho) if she's going to give up on her first love rather it be with Edward

@unnaturalsolace The start of this chapter is in the same timeframe as the start of the first chapter, three years in the future when Sumire is running away and promising to save someone.
The whole main story is technically a flashback to when it all started. The basic "I bet you're wondering how I got in this situation..." setup.
