Isn’t Demeter supposed to just absolutely hate Hades? Well it’s not like this series really cares about the relationships in the myths anyways.

the reason Demeter hated Hades in the original mythos was because he first kidnapped her daughter persephone and then tricked her into being forced to stay there and be his bride. obviously that event didn't happen in this story given Demeter is on great terms with Hades.
