New theory!!
Aka is Aria Company's grandma, and Uran is Himeya company's founder.
And Verdi will found Orange Planet.
They both fit perfectly in Aqua's lore...
What's Uran's family name, do we know?
oooh, good point, didn't remember the connection of her family- she's far more fiery in personality, like a certain "hot-blooded protector of justice!" from Aria =D[If you haven't read/watched Aria, this comment contains spoilers, traveler!]
It hasn't been mentioned in the story so far, and off the top of my head I can't think of any evidence being shown as of yet that'd connect her to a character from Aria. (perhaps the closest one being her family's deep connection to Youngleaf Manor a.k.a Himeya's building in the future)
Maybe her last name has been avoided so far deliberately? If it turns out to be "Ferrari" or "Granzchesta", this might indeed make sense ┐( ̄ヘ ̄)┌
Uran's dad is a "Guardian of the Flame" (what appears to be the precursor to the "Salamander" occupation). This is a shot in the dark, but could she be an Izumo—a relative of Akatsuki (ºΔº) !? (lol, and now that I mention it, her name is the only Japanese one of the trio)
I was thinking about him too, right now he feels like Aka's family, and later in Aria, he is seen as a spirit, an entity deeply rooted in the city, someone that will become a friend\guardian of Akari and we see in the manga it looks like he is Akari's pen pall...I think we all saw this coming during the chapter that introduced the prototype gondola and Uran wanted to row it no matter what.
I know the current mass guessing is that each of the girl trio will be involved with the various Undine companies we know but I hope not. Uran is obviously representating the progenitors of the Undine, but I hope the others will end up being the progenitors of other important vocations we've seen around in Aria.
And there's also Kurocha to talk about. He's there but no one's actually talked about what he really is.
