While I do understand Shibasaki's way of thinking and motivating himself, is just greeting the OL something he can't handle? It would be better for his romantic aspirations to keep himself on top of the OL's mind. For that, he needs to interact with her. There's already the age and status (working adult vs student) barrier he needs to overcome, so he should be careful not to give the OL so much time and separation that she will convince herself that getting any closer to Shibasaki is a bad idea.

I mean, he's Takuan... So maybe safe...?

I didn't expect I'll have to address it, but yes, in case of tonkatsu the sauce would be most surely katsu sauce. What I did was - generalizing on the concept of "seasoning factions". My bad, I guess it didn't transfer well with my note. Was not doing it in context of tonkatsu, but in general. And I believe, if we look at Japan from the western pov, the first sauce that comes to mind will be soy sauce, shoyu. It was also mentioned in the source I came across while thinking about this note.
