A word of warning from cat owner...

Don't try what Aki is trying.

TL;DR is wounds from cat is no joke. It'll be very painful and 99% of the time leaving lasting scars no matter how small it looks. Detail in the spoiler:
Cats' claws are, by design, predators' weapon. When it tears into your flesh, the wound will be microscopically frayed and will 99% of the time leave lasting scars no matter how small it looks. It will also buried all the dirts and germs they have on their claw deep into your wound and surface cleaning like washing over with tap water or wipe with alcohol is never enough; for home first aid, you need to at least scrub over the wound hard or spray directly onto your wound with somewhat pressurized water (like shower head) to dislodge most of those things (bonus for doing it soon after is your wound will be somewhat numb) or the wound will be throbbing and painful later (doing so doesn't guarantee it will not be either, but less severe at the very least).
This applies to even house cats, but bonus for strays is they can have dangerous bacteria on top of just normal bacteria.
A vaccination after is mostly required if you got clawed by strays, but I survived multiple incidents with completely indoor cats.

But not the bite. Same things applies similar to their claws, but added bonus now is germs in their saliva, which is very nasty. Vaccination is now 100% required + a course of antibiotic. The wound will now be 1000% nastier since the opening will be just a small hole, but can goes very deep (one time it was over a centimeter for me (almost 0.5 in for you Americans) and you will never clean it properly -- even with jet of water -- because it can be curvy. You have to let your body deal with all those germs with the help of antibiotic; and the wound will inflamed very badly; or for the very deep wound (like the one mentioned), doctor might have to cut open the wound and widened it to clean or there could be complications later.

Now, using laundry net is a step in the right direction, but that thing won't be enough to withstand their claws, especially if they starts to panic and their adrenaline kicks in.
You need blanket or towel, and a thick one at that -- and that might not be enough if Mitsu chan is a healthy male (can't remember; if she's female, the blanket probably be enough, but definitely not the laundry net).

Well, call me whatever, but what I handle (feeding meds, etc) are my own cats which aren't hostile as how strays can be when they panic and I still got clawed pretty badly. So when I see the manga making it looks like they are very well prepared when they actually are wayyyyyy under prepared, I have to call it out.
