Content filter for country origin not working

Heya there.

Running again into problem where the content filter isn't working with the country of origin.
Now the front page "popular new titles" is showing manwha, origin Korea, even though my setting is "original language filter: Japanese".

Also noticed that the problem where you search titles by tag, such as "isekai" and enter Browse all isekai titles", similarly shows also Korean and Chinese titles, despite the settings.

I am primarily using mangadex on Android and brave, so I checked the problem on laptop as well. There the advanced search explicitly shows that the original language is initially reset to "all languages".

Shouldn't the account settings be sticky to all searches, unless changed for that specific search? Especially when you are not searching for all titles, but in just tag of your preference.

I'm just talking about the inconvenience of different country/language origins of titles that I wouldn't like to see on my feed, but some people also wouldn't like to see erotic or pornographic titles, and those settings are also reset on the advanced search.

I wish the settings were turned sticky on the whole site when logged in.

Hi, sorry for the late reply.
As far as I know, certain sections of the site, including the popular new titles carousel, are designed to remain unaffected by the filters.

As for the tag browse section, I asked the developers about it, and they said it was an oversight that they will address.
Feel free to open a thread about it on the bugs subforum.
