Authors can never let things run smoothly. Gotta have the misunderstanding arc where Ruka pushes her away before the realisation.I can't help but feel that there's a chance Ruka will end up short-circuiting, and not in a good way
Would it really be a misunderstanding? It's kinda highlighted that Ruka got used pretty bad, as much as I'd like some smooth sailing to the finish line, it makes perfect sense that their romance will probably have a speed bump because of latent trust issues or somethingShe's out seducing like a boss and yet still has no idea what she's actually doing to the poor girl.

Pretty much. Ruka's past explains why she's playing this "uncaring top" who she obviously isn't. We all know she "trusts" Suuna, but it is enough for Ruka to allow herself to actually love someone again? I thinks is too soon for that.Would it really be a misunderstanding? You're right, but my trauma as a reader is deep, unrelenting and unreasonable.Would it really be a misunderstanding?
