While normally I’d post a meme or joke, Christmas has me feeling reflective lol. Her change from being ashamed about Xmas to enjoying it reminds me of a wonderful quote from CS Lewis, something that’s really stuck with me for the past few years:

“When I was ten, I read fairy tales in secret and would have been ashamed if I had been found doing so. Now that I am fifty, I read them openly. When I became a man, I put away childish things, including the fear of childishness and the desire to be very grown up.”

You’re right, I’m dumb, momentarily forgot it takes at least 8 months(I think?) for the baby to mature in the stomach.

I still can't believe KFC managed to trick Japan into thinking that eating fried chicken on Christmas was an actual tradition.

From what I've read, it's because they don't (or can't) grow turkeys in Japan.
