Volume 2 has been announced for January 12th, so I'll be uploading new chapters a few weeks after that.

The MC and cosmofs are f... annoying. I'm rooting for the opposing forces to dispose of them quickly.

Hrrrm. It seems intriguing so far, but on the other hand, if everyone just keeps switching sides back and forth with no consequences ever it'll become sorta meaningless ...

I am wondering if a "psychological" tag shouldn't be added, between the existential crises and the mood-swings and the pure weirdness of things. Thoughts, anyone?

@ilcane87:

The only actual girl-on-girl romance (as opposed to deliberately-ambiguous/fanservice stuff) at this point is between two side-characters, so I can't see anything that merits it. (Some people believe shoujo-ai tags should be applied when it's pure subtext, but that's not, at least, this site's policy)

@Pyoro:

I personally thought all the side-switching was just feeding deliberately into the uncertainty over anything like "good" and "evil", but I could be wrong.

Volume 3's release was announced for 9/21, but also that it would be the last one. I honestly did not see that coming and thought for sure there would be at least 4 volumes with all the mysteries and possible side plots it brought up, but of course I'll still release my translations.

So far it's kinda disgusting how the skirt over the whole issue.
As I see it, it's highly implied that Laika's parents created the Cosmofs to help their ailing daughter, which is comprehensible, but her mother dying in an accident should have tipped them off that such creatures were dangerous. Then we have Laika and Imori who turned out to have known perfectly well how dangerous those vermin were and how important was Laika for their wellbeing. Yet they leave Laika's daughter to contain what was potentially a world ending scenario with no explanation or training whatsoever, they leave an emotionally vulnerable child, probably knowing fully well how terrible the future was going to be.

Mind you, they try to pass off the Cosmofs as a minor issue, but they're not cute mischievous critters. They're a mutating plague that has caused chaos and devastation all over the world, which has resulted in casualties. Mira has all the right to want blood. It's not a matter of "we can undo this tragedy". Even if time travel shenanigans somehow bring back all the dead back to life, it won't erase the fact that Laika's neglect caused a catastrophe. They're trying to cleverly put this issue aside with cheap emotional manipulation and shounen stock phrases like "I'll protect my family", but the fact remains that whatever the kid Laika was back then, she screwed up big time, and at the very least, Alice should feel a wee bit conflicted in defending her, instead of lashing against the world for rightfully blaming her mother for the disaster.

Seven Seas just announced they licensed this manga and it will be released in March of 2020.
