It's important to note that although rushing and driving off without properly securing the seatbelt is quicker in the beginning, over the length of the race, that small advantage is not worth the risk. This was proven in 1969, the year the Le Mans-style start was changed:
Feeling this type of start was unsafe, in the 1969 race, Jacky Ickx opposed it by walking across the track while his competitors ran. Although he was nearly hit by a faster competitor's car while walking, Ickx took the time to fasten his safety belts before pulling away. Privateer John Woolfe died in an accident on the first lap of that race; Ickx won.

Due to the traffic patters in c1 inner the race is usually decided by one single turn I wonder if they will crash there since either you go foot to the floor their and gain ~70 meters or you brake and have a poor setup for the next corner and lose 70 meters. The Sequences of corners:
