25mil Yen is definitely not 350k in dollars. Much more like 180k
I did make a minor mistake with the conversion as the year that the E60 wagon was sold was actually in around 1995, and not 2009 with the manga release as I put it, but it's still not just 180k USD in my opinion.

While that may seem like a high figure, I think it's an accurate calculation and that it's fair. I used the historical exchange rate of the time from JPY to USD, and then adjusted that USD figure with inflation to the value today. For example, in 1995, a brand new Lamborghini Diablo VT sold for about 25 million yen in Japan, this is the same amount as the E60 wagon described. The same Diablo VT was sold for 270k USD in the US at the same time. If you then adjust the 270k USD for the inflation rate from 1995 to 2025, you arrive at 560k USD.

Since maybe it does generate a bit of confusion and questions, I may just leave the interpretation of the JPY figures as an exercise for the readers in the future. I've removed it in this chapter for now.

I for one really appreciate your efforts in using the historical change rates and taking inflation into account. The Google page you showed was well made too.
