Shun didn't want to modify his LP400 in any meaningful way to reach 300km/h, and compared to that Jota in this race - it would be eaten alive.
So either Shun changes his stance on what he stood 200+ chapters or they need to source new LP400 and modify it to such extent that it would basicly be new car with totally new driving which Shun need to grasp on fly to even have a remote chance.
